Trump threatens to restrict the sale of Boeing aircraft parts to China!

According to Reuters, Trump said on Friday that the United States may impose export controls on Boeing aircraft parts as part of its response to China's rare earth export controls.
When asked about the potential export controls, Trump told reporters at the White House: "We have a lot of things, including big things like airplanes. They (China) have a lot of Boeing airplanes, and they need parts, and they need a lot of other things like that."
Data from aviation analytics firm Cirium shows that Chinese airlines still have orders for at least 222 Boeing aircraft. China currently has 1,855 Boeing aircraft in service. The majority of these aircraft on order and in service are Boeing's best-selling 737 narrow-body aircraft.
On October 9, China's Ministry of Commerce announced its decision to impose export controls on rare earth-related technologies and other items.
