On December 4, 2025, Civil Aviation Resource Network reported that, according to the Tokyo Airport Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan, ANA flight NH819, which departed from Narita Airport and was bound for Manila, Philippines, declared a state of emergency due to an engine malfunction on the night of December 3 local time, and changed its destination to Haneda Airport.

According to ANA, while flying over the Pacific Ocean, flight NH819 discovered a slight vibration inside its left engine and decided to turn back towards Tokyo, landing at Haneda Airport at approximately 9:38 PM local time.

ANA flight NH819 was operated by a Boeing 787-9 aircraft (registration number: JA925A) carrying 208 passengers.
