On May 2, 2026, Civil Aviation Resource Network reported that a foreign man fell from a height at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia on the evening of May 1st, local time, and died after being taken to the hospital.

According to Malaysian media reports, a 30-year-old Algerian man was witnessed suddenly climbing over a railing and jumping from a balcony on the third floor of the terminal.

Police stated that the incident occurred at approximately 9:10 PM.

The man opened his luggage, suddenly ran to the balcony, climbed over the railing, and fell.

Paramedics arrived and immediately provided first aid, transporting him to the hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries at approximately 2:55 AM.

Malaysian authorities stated that the case is currently being treated as a sudden death, and the specific cause is still under investigation.
