According to CCTV, at around 15:00 on July 14, a Philippine Airlines plane ran off the runway at Busuanga Airport in Palawan Province. The extent of damage to the aircraft or airport infrastructure is not yet clear.
Affected by the accident, Busuanga Airport has been closed and some flights need to be diverted.
Philippine Airlines later issued a statement saying that all 53 passengers and 4 crew members on board had safely disembarked.
