Civil Aviation Resources Network, April 14, 2025: Air New Zealand (NZ) recently released a new uniform series, marking an important innovation in its brand visual image. This update not only shows Air New Zealand's cultural pride, but also fully integrates local art and international design concepts. The new uniforms are designed by internationally renowned New Zealand fashion designer Emilia Wickstead, and work with tā moko artist Te Rangitu Netana to create a series of uniforms with New Zealand cultural characteristics.

The series features bright patterns, bright colors and exquisite craftsmanship, perfectly interpreting Air New Zealand's emphasis on excellent quality and employee image. As the first uniform update in 14 years, the new uniform took 17 months to design and complete, covering a total of about 6,000 flight and ground staff, including up to 125 items, which can be called the largest uniform replacement plan in Air New Zealand's history.

The new uniforms will be tried on by the first 400 employees in May 2025 and are scheduled to be fully launched in 2026. This livery change is not only an innovation in appearance, but also reflects Air New Zealand's commitment to enhancing employee confidence and identity, and presenting a more culturally rich and modern aviation brand image to the world.
