Airbus: Target of 700 aircraft delivered this year is achievable

Airbus said a few days ago that it plans to produce 50 A320neo aircraft a month by the end of the year. Meanwhile, Airbus Chief Financial Officer Dominik Asam said the goal of delivering 700 aircraft by 2022 is achievable.
In the first eight months of this year, Airbus delivered 382 aircraft to 62 customers, including 30 A220s, 298 A320Neos, 6 A330s, 10 A330neos and 38 A350s. Of these, 39 aircraft were delivered in August.
