A direct international flight will be launched between Kazakhstan and Malaysia, according to the KNA news agency.
A delegation led by the chairman of the Kazakhstan Civil Aviation Commission, Talhat Rastaev, held talks with the Malaysian aviation authority.
During the talks, the two sides discussed the reopening of international direct flights between Kazakhstan and Malaysia.
Previously, in 2019, the relevant departments of the two countries carried out work in this regard, but due to the outbreak of the epidemic, the "pause button" was pressed.
The Kazakhstan Civil Aviation Commission said in a news release that it plans to launch flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kazakhstan in 2023, and then continue to third countries.
