Dutch government will cancel flight restrictions at Schiphol Airport
According to Reuters, in the face of pressure from the U.S. government and the European Union, the Dutch government gave up on November 14 its plan to limit the number of flights at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport next summer, calling the decision a "helpless move."
Schiphol Airport, one of Europe's busiest hubs, previously planned to limit the number of flights to less than 10% of 2019 levels, mainly to reduce noise pollution, and environmentalists also welcomed the move as a way to reduce carbon dioxide and Necessary for nitrogen emissions.
