Embraer ("Embraer") and FlightSafety International have announced that FlightSafety will provide a new Full Flight Simulator (FFS) for the Pilot 500 and Pilot 600 business jets to meet the growing pilot training for both aircraft types need. The simulator is the third Pilot 500 and Pilot 600 simulators manufactured by FlightSafety International. The simulator will be placed in Orlando to serve the growing fleet of Pilot series business jets. Currently, there are more than 200 Pilot series business jets in operation worldwide. The new simulators will be operational starting in the second quarter of 2023.

Johann Bordais, President and CEO of Embraer Service and Support, said: "As deliveries of the Pilot series continue to increase, we also recognize the need to enhance the training capabilities of our customers around the world. The new full flight simulator will provide Embraer's customers with the latest aircraft technology updates and bring the highest level of service to the market."

The simulator will be located at a location about an hour's drive from Embraer's corporate jet headquarters in Melbourne, Florida. The site was chosen taking into account the large concentration of aircraft and operators in the surrounding area, the comprehensive network of hotels and attractions, and easy access from both domestic and international locations.

Nate Speiser, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at FlightSafety, said: "FlightSafety is very pleased to be able to serve the growing fleet of the Pilot Series aircraft operator in a region with a high concentration of customers. The aircraft has been in partnership with Embraer since 2015. Since the industry partnership, FlightSafety has trained more than 5,000 pilots on the Pilot Series aircraft, and the program is a key element of our 33-year partnership with Embraer on crew training."

The Vanguard 500 and Vanguard 600 are the world's most disruptive and technologically advanced midsize and super-midsize business jets, respectively. The Pilot 500 is the fastest mid-size business jet with a range of 3,340 nautical miles, and takes only one stopover from the West Coast of the United States to Europe. The Pilot 600 is the furthest super-midsize business jet with a range of 4,018 nautical miles, enabling nonstop nonstop flights between London and New York.

In addition, the Pilot series of business jets can also provide passengers with first-class comfort, including the lowest cabin pressure altitude in its class, and the standard HEPA high-efficiency air filter can remove 99.97% of bacteria in the air. There is a degree of commonality between the two models, with the pilot of one being able to operate the other. Both use full fly-by-wire technology to reduce pilot workload; active turbulence reduction technology can provide passengers with a smoother flight experience; at the same time, these two models are less restricted by airports and can fly to more Airports are also easier to maintain.
