In the third quarter of this year, Embraer delivered 33 aircraft, including 10 commercial jets and 23 business jets (15 light and 8 medium). During the same period in 2021, Embraer delivered 30 aircraft.
In September, Embraer delivered an E195-E2 aircraft to Dutch city short-haul airlines. This is the 1,700th E-series jet aircraft delivered by Embraer. Since the first generation of E-series aircraft was officially put into commercial operation in 2004, this series of aircraft has joined the fleet of 150 airlines and leasing companies in more than 50 countries around the world, and has achieved great commercial success in the world.
In October, Oman Salam Air (SalamAir) signed a firm order for 6 E195-E2s, plus 6 optional purchase rights. TUI signed a long-term lease agreement with AerCap for three E195-E2 aircraft.
In the first three quarters of 2022, Embraer has delivered a total of 79 aircraft, including 27 commercial aircraft and 52 business jets. As of the end of the third quarter, the total reserve orders were approximately US$17.8 billion.
