Civil Aviation Resource Network News on November 4, 2022: Reuters reported earlier that some Cathay Pacific flights will resume via Russian airspace from November, and flights from New York to Hong Kong will use "polar routes".

OneMileAtATime reported that American Airlines will no longer codeshare on Cathay Pacific's New York-Hong Kong route due to Cathay Pacific's use of Russian airspace.

The report also pointed out that Qatar Airways also used Russian airspace, and its code-sharing was cancelled; as for other flights that do not use Russian airspace, the code-sharing agreement will continue to be valid.
