Go First extends flight cancellations until February 2024
News from Civil Aviation Resources Network on December 18, 2023: According to Simpleflying reports, Go First has extended its operational suspension period to February 2024, which increases the difficulty for airlines to restart operations and resolve outstanding debt issues. Currently, there is a lack of investors expressing interest in continuing to support the airline, leading to a loss of confidence in flights resuming operations and the risk of potential liquidation of the company.

In January 2022, Go First became India's second largest airline by domestic market share. The airline later incurred a financial loss of $218 million in fiscal 2022. In May 2023, the airline filed for bankruptcy and had to ground its fleet of 54 Airbus A320neos. The operational suspension has been ongoing while the airline undergoes insolvency proceedings in the courts.
