Civil Aviation Resources Network, April 11, 2025: At about 15:17 local time on April 10, a Bell 206 helicopter crashed into the Hudson River in New York, USA, and all six people on board were killed.
On April 10, local time, New York Mayor Adams said at a press conference that the helicopter that crashed into the Hudson River that day carried six people, including three children and three adults, and all of them were killed.
A witness told the Associated Press that he witnessed the helicopter "disintegrating" in the air and saw the tail and propeller fall off, while another witness said that the helicopter "spun very fast" when it fell and fell into the water "very heavily".
The FAA said that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have launched an investigation.
