Civil Aviation Resource Network News on December 6, 2022: Hong Kong Airlines announced in September that it intends to seek the approval of the UK and Hong Kong courts to restructure its 49 billion debt. According to news, most creditors voted in favor of Hong Kong Airlines’ proposed debt restructuring plan. It is expected that the company is expected to avoid Bankruptcy liquidation.

According to the creditor documents obtained by this newspaper, among the three related Hong Kong and Shipping debts, about 80% to 100% of the creditors in each category support the debt restructuring plan. Hong Kong Airlines announced that the British court and the Hong Kong court will hold a hearing on the debt restructuring vote on December 9 and 14, respectively.
