India approves conditional resumption of flight operations for GoFirst Air

 

According to a Reuters report, the Civil Aviation Authority of India approved Go First Airlines to resume flight operations on July 21, but certain conditions must be met, including obtaining temporary financial support and approval of flight slots.

 

In early May, Go First ceased operations and entered bankruptcy protection.

The Civil Aviation Authority of India approved the recovery plan submitted by Go First on the 21st, and pointed out that certain conditions must be met for the resumption of flight operations. "Go First will only be able to start scheduled flight services after interim funding support has been obtained and the flight plan has been approved by the Civil Aviation Authority."

 

According to the Civil Aviation Authority of India, ticket sales can only start after the flight operation has been approved.

Earlier this month, Go First Airlines began inviting potential investors.
