Japan Airlines releases new Disney livery aircraft

Civil Aviation Resources Network reported on August 27, 2024: According to foreign media reports, Japan Airlines (JAL) will launch a special Disney-themed painted aircraft "JAL Fantastic Journey Express" in late October 2024. This special livery will appear on the Boeing 767-300ER for use on domestic flights in Japan to celebrate the newly opened Fantasy Springs at Tokyo DisneySea.
The "JAL Fantastic Journey Express" is part of a partnership between JAL and Tokyo Disney Resort, the sixth of its kind since 2001. The painted design features iconic Disney characters such as Anna and Elsa from Frozen, Rapunzel and Peter Pan from Tangled, and more.
The themed aircraft will fly domestic routes in Japan, will accommodate 252 passengers, and will feature special cabin interiors and music to enhance the Disney-themed experience.
