Civil Aviation Resources Network, June 3, 2024: According to Bloomberg, on June 2, local time, Korean Air announced plans to order up to 30 Boeing aircraft as early as next month.

In an interview, Korean Air CEO Cho Won-tae said the company is considering ordering Boeing 787 Dreamliners or more Airbus A350 aircraft. He said the final choice is likely to be made at the Farnborough Air Show in the UK at the end of July, and the 787 is "more likely."

Korean Air announced in March that it would order 33 A350 series aircraft, and last year ordered 20 A321neo aircraft, bringing its total orders for single-aisle aircraft to 50.
