According to the Shenzhen Border Inspection Station, in the first quarter of this year, 1.6 million people entered and exited Shenzhen Airport Port, a year-on-year increase of 32%, ranking fourth among the national airport ports. On January 23, 21,300 people entered and exited the country, a record high in the past five years. With the linkage and superposition of the 240-hour transit visa-free policy with mutual visa exemption, unilateral visa exemption, and regional entry visa exemption policies, the exchange of Chinese and foreign personnel has continued to heat up.
According to statistics, as of March 31, the Shenzhen Border Inspection Station of the Shenzhen Airport Border Inspection Station has inspected a total of 340,000 foreigners entering and leaving the country, a year-on-year increase of 50%, ranking first among all ports in Shenzhen. Among them, 173,000 foreigners entered the country, a year-on-year increase of 52.3%, and visa-free entry accounted for 55.5%, a year-on-year increase of 170.5%.
