The Prime Minister of Nepal convened a cabinet meeting to deploy a rescue operation. No Chinese were found in the accident

 

According to Nepalese media reports, on January 15, local time, after a Nepal Snowman Airlines passenger plane carrying 72 people crashed, Nepalese Prime Minister Prachanda held an emergency cabinet meeting and ordered an immediate rescue operation.

 

At present, Prachanda has arrived at Kathmandu Airport to learn more about the crash.

 

On the same day, an ATR-72 airliner of Nepal Yeti Airlines flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara crashed at a location between the old and new airports in Pokhara. There were 72 people on board, including 68 passengers and four crew members.

 

According to BBC reports, among the passengers on board were 15 foreigners and the rest were Nepalese, including 5 Indians, 4 Russians, 2 Koreans, 1 Irish, 1 Australian, 1 Argentinian and 1 French.

It is reported that at least 40 people have been killed in the accident so far.
