On November 7, 2025, at 11:36 AM, Air China flight CA101 smoothly landed at Hong Kong International Airport. The domestically produced large passenger aircraft C919, for the first time, flew the Beijing-Hong Kong route draped in the five-star red flag, slowly passing through a water salute to receive the highest honor from the civil aviation industry. That afternoon, over 120 guests from various sectors, including the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Hong Kong, relevant agencies of the Hong Kong SAR Government, patriotic organizations, the "Two Airlines" Friendship Association, China National Aviation Holding Company (CNAH), Chinese-funded enterprises in Hong Kong, and media representatives, gathered to celebrate the successful maiden flight of the C919 carrying the national flag on the Hong Kong route. The event also included the launch ceremony for the "Air China C919 Re-flying 'Two Airlines Uprising' Northward Glorious Journey" series of themed activities. November 9th marks the anniversary of the "Two Airlines Uprising." Taking the C919's first flag-bearing flight on the Beijing-Hong Kong route as an opportunity, China National Aviation Holding Company (CNAH) has planned and is holding a series of themed events entitled "Wingspanning Patriotic Glory, Flag-Bearing Glorious Flight Northward-Air China C919 Re-flies the Glorious Journey of the 'Two Airlines Uprising' Northward Flight." On November 9th, the 76th anniversary of the "Two Airlines Uprising," a C919 aircraft is scheduled to fly the Hong Kong-Tianjin route, re-flying the original northward flight route of the "Two Airlines Uprising," to pay tribute to the patriotic feat of the "Two Airlines Uprising," promote patriotism, showcase the glorious history of Chinese civil aviation from its humble beginnings to its current prominence, and contribute to uniting patriotic and Hong Kong-loving forces. The opening ceremony was solemn and enthusiastic. Speeches were delivered by Mr. Cheuk Wing-hing, Deputy Secretary for Administration of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region; Ms. Lee Wai-king, Head of the Hong Kong Patriotism Education Working Group; Mr. Cui Xiaofeng, Director of China National Aviation Holding Company Limited; and representatives from the "Two Airlines" Friendship Association. They jointly reviewed the historic moment of the "Two Airlines Uprising" 76 years ago, deeply commemorated the patriotic sentiments of the older generation of civil aviation workers, paid tribute to the "Two Airlines Spirit," discussed the rapid development of China's civil aviation over the past decades, and looked forward to a bright future for China's civil aviation industry.

The ceremony also announced that after the C919 aircraft re-flying the northbound route of the "Two Airlines Uprising" arrives in Tianjin, the only completely preserved original site and appearance in my country, showcasing the "Two Airlines Uprising" through on-site exhibits, artifacts, and evidence, will hold its first exhibition in Tianjin. Witnessed by the attending guests, the Hong Kong "Two Airlines" Friendship Association and the "Two Airlines Uprising" Exhibition Hall signed a cooperation agreement, agreeing to work closely together, integrate resources, and create a new landmark for patriotic education on the "Two Airlines Uprising."
