Air India launches pilot training program
News from Civil Aviation Resource Network on February 18, 2024: According to Simpleflying, Air India's FlyHigh pilot cadet program aims to provide pilot training for Indian citizens aged between 18 and 30 years old who are fluent in English, healthy and have good academic performance. Opportunity to cater to Air India's growing fleet. Successful applicants will be sent to schools in India and, if passed, will receive flight training at the AeroGuard Flight Training Center in Phoenix, Arizona, or L3Harris Group's campus in Sanford, Florida, the United States.

Once the above training is completed, pilots with commercial pilot licenses (CPL) will return to Air India's new training academy in Gurgaon, India, to receive simulator training required by the type and fly Air India's commercial fleet.
