This severe weather has impacted flight operations at the airport.
The airport has activated its Level 1 emergency response mechanism, working with airlines and on-site units to ensure orderly flight operations.
The thunderstorms have a significant impact on flight operations; some flights may be delayed or canceled, and flights from other airports to Beijing may be diverted. Passengers are advised to closely monitor weather changes and flight updates.

Beijing Daxing International Airport also stated via its official Weibo account that there are currently thunderstorms at the airport, which are expected to continue until 5 PM, with some periods of heavy rainfall. Passengers are advised to pay close attention to weather changes and flight updates, and adjust their travel plans accordingly.


According to FlightAware app monitoring, as of 5 PM on July 7th, Beijing Capital International Airport had 95 delayed flights and 22 canceled flights today.
Due to severe weather, inbound flights at Beijing Capital International Airport have begun to divert to other airports, with 11 flights diverted, primarily to Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport. The number of diverted flights continues to increase.
