Capital International Airport Domestic Air Cargo Terminal Project Approved

Recently, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission approved the Capital International Airport domestic air cargo terminal project. After the completion of the project, the linkage of various functional facilities in the air cargo sector of the Capital International Airport will be strengthened to further improve the cargo efficiency of the airport.

The Capital International Airport domestic air cargo terminal project covers an area of 51,116.42 square meters, with a construction scale of 58,282.64 square meters (excluding underground area). The construction content is storage buildings and ancillary facilities.

The total project investment is approximately 479.07 million yuan, and all required funds will be raised by the Airport Development Co., Ltd.

After the project is completed, it can provide security inspection auxiliary rooms for airport ground service personnel, support vehicles, transport vehicles, etc. entering the airside. It will be linked with other storage facilities within the land area to achieve separation of the airside and landside, effectively improving the capital International airport’s internal cargo turnover efficiency and aviation logistics comprehensive operation service support capabilities.
