China Eastern Airlines C919 large passenger aircraft completes first A inspection and maintenance work
From November 3 to November 7, China Eastern Airlines’ B-919C/C919 aircraft completed its first 1A-level scheduled inspection and maintenance work at the Hongqiao base hangar. Inspectors from the Certificate Management Office went to the Hongqiao base hangar to conduct on-site inspections.

There are 91 routine and 53 additional tasks in this 1A inspection of the C919 aircraft, which is carried out by the domestic aircraft maintenance department of China Eastern Technology Company as the maintenance body. Before the start of construction, the inspectors conducted a detailed review of work ID training, process arrangement, availability of work equipment and aviation materials, human resources analysis, construction risk control, emergency response plans, etc. After the start of work, the inspectors focused on the implementation of the "Key and Difficulties in Work Card Implementation" and "Work Card Implementation Risks" in the regular inspection work package. The inspector selected 12 work cards for in-depth evaluation, with the purpose of verifying the enforceability of the manual work cards and the compliance of maintenance personnel.
Through this on-site inspection, the inspector of the Certificate Management Office put forward improvement requirements for the company in terms of the content of the work card, production preparation, service work and record signing standardization, and also made improvements to the ETMOP04-005 "regular inspection" that was reviewed and approved in the previous CMT meeting. The compliance with the work procedures of "Maintenance Implementation Management" has been verified on-site with consistent documentation.
The completion of the A-inspection and maintenance work on the first C919 aircraft marks that China Eastern Airlines, the world's first user of C919, has reached a new level in the maintenance capabilities of domestically produced civil aircraft. The Certificate Management Office will persevere and be cautious, and pay close attention to the details of domestically produced civil aircraft.
