Among them, there are 789 passenger aircraft, 14 all-cargo aircraft, and 120 large wide-body aircraft (wide-body passenger aircraft and all-cargo aircraft), accounting for about 15%.
As the world's first user of the domestically produced large aircraft C919, China Eastern Airlines is currently the only airline commercially operating the C919 large aircraft. The C919 fleet has reached 5 aircraft. At the same time, the scale of domestically produced ARJ21 regional passenger aircraft has also reached 21 aircraft. It is understood that on September 28, 2023, China Eastern Airlines signed a contract to order an additional 100 C919 large aircraft, and cooperated with all parties to jointly promote the vigorous development of the domestic civil aircraft industry, so that domestic civil aircraft can "fly with safety, fly with ambition, fly with brand, and fly with high quality". benefit".
