According to Daxing International Airport, as of September 30, 2025, Daxing Airport will have handled a total of 258,500 inbound and outbound flights and 40.013 million passengers. This represents increases of 6.06% and 7.9%, respectively, compared to the same period in 2024, surpassing the 40 million passenger mark 20 days ahead of schedule.
In the six years since its opening, Daxing Airport has seen a continuous increase in passenger traffic, currently averaging 947 flights and 146,600 passengers per day. The airport has handled over 1.34 million flights and welcomed over 183 million passengers. Seventy Chinese and international airlines are currently operating nearly 190 routes to approximately 180 destinations.
This year, Daxing Airport has opened or resumed international routes to Casablanca, Bandar Seri Begawan, Ho Chi Minh City, Tokyo Narita, and Dushanbe. On October 3rd and 16th, China Southern Airlines will resume direct flights from Beijing Daxing to Tehran and open direct flights from Beijing Daxing to Doha, respectively. The route network continues to improve, and aviation products are constantly enriched, bringing convenience to more passengers. Furthermore, Daxing Airport has strengthened transit service guarantees and actively promoted the Civil Aviation Administration's "Trunk and Branch Connectivity, Full Network Connectivity" plan. Many of its transit routes rank high in passenger volume nationwide, and in the third quarter, it saw the highest transit passenger volume in the country, with a month-on-month increase of nearly 100,000 passengers.
Daxing Airport continues to refine its service quality. On its sixth anniversary of operation, it revamped its "Xingxiang Shicheng" service brand system, introducing seven new aviation service products: gate pick-up and drop-off, China Eastern Airlines' elimination of domestic check-in cut-off times, China United Airlines' "Instant Travel," upgraded "Easy Security Check," "Xing'an Overnight," international facilitation, and "Suixingpin" ride-hailing services. These products will provide passengers with a more "time-saving, effort-saving, worry-free, and value-for-money" service experience.
