News from Civil Aviation Resource Network on January 17, 2023: According to People's Daily Online, the Hong Kong Airport Authority announced on the 16th that the passenger volume of Hong Kong International Airport will total 5.7 million in 2022, an increase of 318.4% compared with 2021. A total of 4.2 million metric tons and 138,700 vehicles were carried out, a year-on-year decrease of 16.4% and 4.2% respectively.
Among them, in December 2022, the airport's passenger traffic will reach 1.6 million, a jump of 938.7% over the same period in 2021, with the most significant increase in passenger traffic to and from Southeast Asia and Japan. Affected by uncertain global economic prospects, geopolitical tensions, and disruptions in the global supply chain, cargo volumes continued to be affected, with cargo volumes to and from Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe showing significant declines.
Lin Tianfu, Chief Executive Officer of the AA, said that due to the continuous impact of the epidemic, Hong Kong International Airport will experience a challenging year in 2022. "In the second half of last year, with the relaxation of travel restrictions and quarantine requirements for inbound passengers by the Hong Kong SAR government, we finally ushered in the dawn. Stepping into 2023, we also have a good start. With the 'customs clearance' with the mainland, we are convinced that the number of passengers at the airport will continue to recover.” China taxiway perimeter light,China Elevated Obstacle Light,Airport Siderow Light factory,China Taxiway Indicator Light,China Medium Intensity Type B.
