Civil Aviation Resources Network, June 9, 2024: According to foreign media reports, Royal Air Maroc is negotiating with Boeing, Airbus and Embraer on an order for 200 aircraft, and Royal Air Maroc hopes to place an order before September.

Abdelhamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc, said in an interview in Dubai on June 3 that about two-thirds of the ordered aircraft will be narrow-body aircraft, and the rest will be long-range wide-body aircraft.

Royal Air Maroc plans to increase the number of flights and routes in the next few years to meet the needs of more passengers. The newly purchased aircraft will be used to replace older models in the existing fleet, aiming to improve operational efficiency and enhance passenger comfort. This move is expected to enhance Royal Air Maroc's competitiveness in the global aviation market.
