Alaska Airlines adds nearly 1 million seats to meet summer travel demand

Civil Aviation Resources Network, June 9, 2024: According to Simpleflying, Alaska Airlines announced its summer flight schedule, adding nearly 1 million seats over last year. The airline said that in addition to increasing capacity, it has arranged more flights to popular destinations and set up new baggage check-in stations at some hubs.
On June 6, local time, Andrew Harrison, Chief Commercial Officer of Alaska Airlines, said that Alaska Airlines has been committed to improving all aspects of passenger travel, adding:
"As a first-class operator, our top priority is to consistently fulfill our commitment to passengers and get them to their destinations safely and on time. This summer, we are ready to increase the number of flights and welcome more passengers to experience our safe operations and high-quality experience."
