Civil Aviation Resources Network, December 27, 2024: According to Reuters, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency announced on December 26 that it had lifted the take-off and landing restrictions on four airports in Moscow, and all four airports in Moscow have resumed operations.
The Russian Air Transport Association issued a statement saying: "Aircraft crews, air traffic control personnel and airport service departments have taken all necessary measures to ensure flight safety. This is the top priority."
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency previously stated that in order to ensure the safety of civil aircraft, the agency temporarily restricted the operations of Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Zhukovsky and Kaluga airports, implemented temporary restrictions on take-off and landing, and stopped flights from taking off and landing.
