Civil Aviation Resources Network reported on July 18, 2024: According to foreign media reports, on July 18 local time, German air taxi developer Lilium stated that Lilium will sell up to 100 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft to Saudi Arabian Airlines Group.

The company said the agreement includes 50 "firm orders" with an option to purchase 50 more. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but the value could be in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
"The Middle East is a key market for Lilium, and Saudi Arabia will be a very large and exciting market," said Lilium CEO Klaus Roewe in a statement.
