On August 14, 2025, the China Air Transport Association (CATA) officially released the "CATA Convention on Self-Regulation in Air Passenger Transport" (hereinafter referred to as the "Convention").
As a key member of China's civil aviation industry, Shenzhen Airlines firmly supports CAA's initiative to lead industry self-regulation and warmly welcomes and actively responds to the release and implementation of the Convention. Shenzhen Airlines will implement the spirit of the Convention through concrete actions, jointly maintain a fair and orderly market environment, and promote high-quality development of the industry.
Shenzhen Airlines will lead by example and fully implement all requirements of the Convention, including but not limited to:
Building a Solid Safety Foundation and Strictly Safeguarding the Red Line of Life: We will always prioritize aviation safety, continuously increase safety investment, improve our safety management system, ensure absolute operational safety, and protect the life and property of every passenger. This is our core commitment to the Convention and the foundation of our airline's existence.
Focusing on service enhancements and optimizing the passenger experience: We actively respond to the service quality requirements of the Convention, continuously optimize service processes and standards, increase service innovation, explore more user-friendly and personalized service products, and strive to address travel difficulties and pain points for passengers, striving to create a travel experience with greater trust and satisfaction.
Standardizing sales practices and protecting consumer rights: We strictly implement the Convention's sales regulations, improve sales channel management, and particularly strengthen supervision of sales agents. We resolutely eliminate any form of bundling, surcharges, and other practices that harm consumer rights, ensure price transparency and clear rules, and foster an honest and fair ticket purchasing environment.
Promoting network collaboration and supporting green flight: We actively participate in and deepen the "Trunk and Branch Connection, Full Network Connectivity" project, optimize route network layout, strengthen intermodal cooperation with railways and other modes of transportation, and provide passengers with more convenient and efficient "one-stop" travel solutions. We also actively implement the concept of green development, increase the application of energy-saving and emission-reduction technologies, explore and promote green and low-carbon practices, and contribute to the sustainable development of the industry.
Strengthen industry self-discipline and jointly create a healthy ecosystem: Actively participate in all self-discipline activities organized by the Air Transport Association of China (ATAC) and proactively accept industry oversight. Strengthen communication and collaboration with industry peers to jointly resist unscrupulous competition, price gouging, and other practices that disrupt market order, and work together to create a clean, fair, orderly, and interactive industry competitive ecosystem.
We firmly believe that under the leadership of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) and the strong organization and coordination of the Air Transport Association of China (ATAC), through the concerted efforts and strict self-discipline of the entire industry, the Convention will play a positive role in promoting the formation of a virtuous cycle of "high-quality service, high-trust experience, and a high-performance industry." Ultimately, this will lead to the healthy, high-quality, and sustainable development of China's passenger aviation industry, better meeting the people's growing demand for better air travel.
