According to Reuters, Boeing's first production 777X aircraft is scheduled for its maiden flight in April. Deliveries of the Boeing 777X are planned for 2027.
A document obtained by Reuters shows that Boeing is conducting fuel tests on 777X aircraft ordered by Lufthansa at Payne Airport in Everett, Washington, and will conduct engine tests later this month.
Boeing stated that in addition to a dedicated flight test fleet, some production aircraft will also be used for tests that do not require specialized flight test equipment and instruments.
Data shows that Lufthansa has ordered a total of 27 Boeing 777X aircraft.
