Aviation obstruction lights can be divided into low-intensity aviation obstruction lights, medium-intensity aviation obstruction lights and high-intensity aviation obstruction lights according to the installation height. According to the 2015 "People's Republic of Civil Aviation Administration of China Industry Standard MH/T 6012-2015" on aviation obstruction lights, it strictly requires the relevant characteristics of different aviation obstruction lights.
All aviation obstruction lights must meet the requirements of Table 4:
Aviation obstruction light installation characteristics
1. Low intensity obstruction lights
The characteristics of low-intensity obstruction lights should meet the requirements of Table 4 and Table 5. The horizontal beam spread angle of low-intensity obstruction lights is 360°.
The mechanical interface used for the edge or bottom installation of Type A and Type B low-intensity obstruction lights should be G3/4 cylindrical pipe thread or G1 cylindrical pipe thread.

2. Medium intensity obstruction lights
The characteristics of medium intensity obstruction lights should meet the requirements of Table 4 and Table 6. The horizontal beam spread angle of medium intensity obstruction lights is 360°.

3. High intensity obstruction lights
The characteristics of high-intensity obstruction lights should meet the requirements of Table 4 and Table 6.
The horizontal beam spread angle of the high-intensity obstruction light is 90° or 120°, and multiple lamps can be used for 360° horizontal coverage.
