Zhuhai: Promoting the development of "fly through Zhuhai Port" and striving to serve 50000 passengers annually
On March 14th, Zhuhai held a press conference and officially released the "Zhuhai City Action Plan for Effectively Managing the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge in 2024". The press conference pointed out that efforts will be made to scale up projects such as "fly through Zhuhai Port" and "bridge tourism", aiming to serve 50000 passengers annually.
On December 12, 2023, the "Jing Zhu Gang Fei" passenger transportation project was officially launched. By leveraging the rich international aviation network of Hong Kong International Airport, the project further facilitates international travel for mainland passengers, expands the cooperation space for transportation and tourism between Zhuhai and Hong Kong, achieves two-way traffic flow with Hong Kong, and promotes the deep integration and development of transportation and tourism industries in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area.

It is understood that the "Zhuhai Port Flight" passenger transportation project has been running smoothly since its opening. As of March 14, 2024, the daily average passenger flow was 113 people, including 63 outbound and 50 inbound, with a peak daily passenger flow of 279 people. During the Spring Festival holiday, the daily average passenger flow was 186 people.
In order to build "Jingzhu Gangfei" into an international intermodal transportation brand project with higher quality services, more convenient customs clearance, and a comfortable and worry free journey, Zhuhai will actively promote the improvement and increment of "Jingzhu Gangfei" project in 2024.
Strengthen the marketing and promotion of the "Zhuhai Port Flight" project. Zhuhai Hong Kong Airport Management Co., Ltd. plans to promote nationwide through media channels and OTA platforms in late April, and cooperate with travel agencies to launch "air land air" intermodal transportation services through "Zhuhai Airport Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Hong Kong Airport"; In mid to late April, the "Zhuhai Airport Flight" service counter will be put into operation at Zhuhai Airport, realizing the forward movement of the bridge service counter function.
Increase the number of check-in service airlines at Daqiao Port. The Hong Kong Airport Authority plans to increase the number of airlines providing check-in services at the Bridge Port by 22 within the year. The plan is to increase the number of service airlines by 9 in the first half of the year and by 13 in the second half.
