On July 3, 2026, Civil Aviation Resource Network reported that Japan Airlines flight JL113 (operated by a Boeing 787, registration number JA848J), en route from Haneda to Osaka, made an emergency landing at Kansai International Airport due to a hydraulic system malfunction.
It was reported that a warning light indicating a hydraulic system malfunction illuminated during the flight. After landing, the aircraft initially stopped on the runway and was subsequently towed to the tarmac.
According to the Kansai Airport Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, no one on board was injured. Runway B was temporarily closed due to an oil leak.
Japan Airlines stated that the flight carried 262 passengers and 10 crew members.
