On December 5, 2025, Civil Aviation Resource Network reported that Air China held a press conference in Beijing titled "Borderless Clouds, Phoenix Soaring to the Galaxy – 'Air China+' Ecosystem Theme Launch." The conference focused on in-depth cooperation models such as joint marketing, co-creating membership benefits, and the launch of digital assets, aiming to build a cross-industry cooperation platform and work with partners from all sectors to explore new paths for the integrated development of aviation services and diversified business formats. The event invited over 100 guests, including representatives from partners in various fields, mainstream media, and industry self-media, to witness Air China opening a new chapter in the construction of its aviation service ecosystem with an open attitude.

As a crucial component of the "Air China+" ecosystem, Air China, in collaboration with partners across multiple sectors, has released a series of cross-industry cooperation achievements, achieving innovative breakthroughs in various ecosystem areas such as digital, travel, and culture. In the digital ecosystem, Air China launched its flagship product for the 31st anniversary of "PhoenixMiles"-digital assets-becoming one of the first airlines in China to make core aviation benefits "collectible, usable, and tradable." This benefits system is matched based on membership level; members flying designated flights and in designated cabin classes every Saturday from December 2025 onwards can enjoy guaranteed flight segments, up to 20,000 non-tiered miles, and exclusive commemorative gifts. In the travel ecosystem, Air China has reached innovative "aviation + car company" cross-industry collaborations with FAW-Volkswagen and Li Auto. After purchasing a car through a dedicated page on the Air China app, users can accumulate "PhoenixMiles" miles through daily driving and enjoy exclusive benefits of Gold Card membership. In the cultural ecosystem, Air China partnered with CCTV to create an "in-flight roadshow hall," collaborated with the Palace Museum to launch the in-flight safety video "The Palace Museum in the Clouds," and co-created an in-flight coffee experience with Luckin Coffee, bringing passengers a cloud-based feast integrating sight, sound, and taste. The "Air China+" ecosystem strategy not only achieves cross-industry breakthroughs but also strives to lead the industry's value enhancement, making frequent flyer miles a core link for cross-industry cooperation and realizing cross-scenario leaps in member benefits value. Currently, Air China has partnered with over 100 outstanding partners, covering multiple sectors including finance, culture and tourism, e-commerce, travel, hotels, telecommunications, and catering, committed to achieving "resource complementarity, value co-creation, and traffic sharing."

Furthermore, at the press conference, Air China also comprehensively showcased its overall advantages in fleet size, route network, and capacity deployment. Regarding the fleet, as of now, the fleet size of Air China's parent company, China National Aviation Holding Company (CNAC), has reached 983 aircraft, including 154 wide-body aircraft and 42 domestically produced civil aircraft. In terms of route network, Air China reaches over 1,150 destinations worldwide, including 73 routes related to the Belt and Road Initiative, building an air bridge to promote global connectivity. Regarding capacity, since the beginning of this year, Air China has launched or resumed 12 international routes, including Beijing-Vladivostok, Beijing-Irkutsk, Beijing-Toronto, Beijing-Cairo, Beijing-Tashkent, Urumqi-Tashkent, Beijing-Almaty, and Hangzhou-Hanoi. In the winter/spring season of 2025, Air China will continue to increase capacity, with plans to launch new routes between Beijing and Brussels and Chengdu and Brussels, while steadily increasing the average daily number of flights on international and regional routes, further expanding its global reach.
