According to CNN, a private plane carrying eight people crashed during takeoff at Bangor International Airport in Maine on the evening of January 25 local time.
Sources say the extent of injuries to those on board is currently unknown.
The aircraft involved was a Bombardier Challenger 650 business jet.
The airport stated in a press release that emergency responders arrived at the scene around 7:45 p.m. Eastern Time. The airport is currently closed.
