On the morning of March 6 local time, a United Airlines Boeing 737 collided with a de-icing truck at Denver International Airport. The de-icing truck operator was taken to the hospital.
United Airlines flight UA608 was scheduled to fly from Denver to Nashville, carrying 122 passengers and 6 crew members.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that the aircraft collided with the truck while leaving the de-icing area. The collision occurred in an area within the airport outside the control of air traffic control towers.
