9 October 2022: Cathay Pacific does not expect flight numbers to return to normal levels for at least two years, underscoring the slow recovery of tourism in parts of Asia and Hong Kong's fragile status as a global hub.
Cathay Pacific plans to fully restore pre-pandemic capacity by the end of 2024 or early 2025, Ronald Lam, president of customer and commercial at Cathay Pacific, said in an interview.
