In the crisp, clear air of October-at the very source of Erhai Lake-the Dali Airport team gathered for their 2026 autumn outing, held in two separate groups on October 22nd and 23rd. Stepping away from their demanding daily duties, colleagues took a well-deserved break to enjoy an autumn rendezvous amidst the natural beauty of the landscape.

For those who have been working tirelessly on the front lines of flight operations, this brief respite was a welcome relief. At the Dali Geothermal Resort, amidst bubbling hot springs and rising mist, everyone shed their exhaustion, letting their bodies and minds relax in the soothing warmth. Over steaming meals and by the water's edge, laughter filled the air. Colleagues-who usually communicate only via walkie-talkies or phone calls-found themselves side-by-side, chatting about life and work, with conversations flowing effortlessly.

Azure Waters
Carrying a Boatload of Joy
Boarding at the Cibi Lake pier, the group set out across the rippling, azure waters. In the distance, the Cangshan Mountains stood like a dark-hued painting, while nearby, water birds danced gracefully; the autumn lake unfolded like a traditional ink-wash scroll. Upon arriving at Liyuan Village, the atmosphere reached its peak with outdoor team-building activities. Through collaborative games and friendly competitions, the air was alive with cheers and laughter. Winning or losing was never the point-what mattered was the presence of those standing by one's side. With every high-five and helping hand, the bridges of communication between colleagues were quietly, yet firmly, strengthened.

Savoring the Taste of Unity
As dusk settled in, the group gathered around the table. A bowl of fish soup and casual, lighthearted conversation served to deepen the bonds forged throughout the day, making the shared experience all the more meaningful. On the return journey, some passengers drifted into a deep sleep by the window, while others remained immersed in memories of the day's delightful moments. This rare sense of relaxation is precisely the gift that the labor union-acting as a supportive "family" to the staff-wished to bestow upon its members.
United in purpose and journey, now is the perfect time to forge ahead during this golden autumn. This autumn outing served not only as a respite for the body and mind but also as an opportunity to deepen personal bonds.
