On July 17, Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. issued an announcement regarding the purchase of 40 aircraft.
The announcement stated that Hainan Airlines Holding signed an Aircraft Purchase Agreement with Airbus on the same day to purchase 40 A320NEO series aircraft from Airbus, with a total transaction amount not exceeding US$5.36 billion (approximately RMB 36.4 billion).
Delivery or transfer of ownership will be phased in from 2028 to 2032. The specific delivery time may be adjusted based on actual circumstances and mutual agreement.
The announcement stated that Hainan Airlines Holding will subsequently fund the transaction using its own funds, commercial bank loans, and other financing methods. The transaction payment will be made in installments and is not expected to have a significant adverse impact on the company's cash flow or business operations.
