1. Adani Group to Invest $15 Billion in Expanding Indian Airports

Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, reported that India's Adani Group plans to invest $15 billion over the next five years to increase the annual passenger throughput capacity of its operated airports to 200 million. The plan includes adding a terminal, taxiways, and a new runway to the new Mumbai airport, which is scheduled to open on December 25.

2. Air India Under Investigation for Repeated Flights Without Safety Certificates

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of India stated on Tuesday that it is investigating Air India after one of its Airbus A320 aircraft flew eight times without a valid airworthiness certificate. An airworthiness certificate is a crucial document ensuring an aircraft meets safety standards. The DGCA stated that the aircraft in question has been grounded and the "personnel involved" have been suspended.
