According to Japanese media reports, a Japan Airlines flight bound for Kagoshima Airport, which departed from Haneda Airport, made an emergency landing at Narita Airport on the morning of May 29th local time due to a tire malfunction.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and other agencies, around 11:00 AM, Japan Airlines Flight 645 (flying from Haneda Airport to Kagoshima Airport) requested an emergency landing, stating that the aircraft might have a tire malfunction.
The flight subsequently changed its destination and diverted to Narita Airport, where it landed safely at 11:53 AM.
There were 226 people on board, and no injuries have been reported so far.
