Loong Airlines launches a series of activities for the 2025 Fire Safety Awareness Month

On November 28, 2025, Civil Aviation Resource Network reported that November 2025 marks the 34th National Fire Prevention Awareness Month, with the theme "Fire Prevention for All, Life First – Safe Use of Fire and Electricity." Loong Airlines is conducting a series of activities for Fire Prevention Awareness Month through various means, including cloud-based science popularization, practical drills, and online columns, integrating fire safety concepts into all aspects of aviation operations and passenger travel.
On November 9, National Fire Prevention Day, the "Linglong" demonstration team of Loong Airlines' Cabin Department created a unique "Cloud-based Fire Safety Class" on flight GJ8067 from Hangzhou to Chengdu. The event, themed "Fire Safety, Walking Together on the Wings," saw flight attendants deeply integrate aviation safety knowledge with the concept of fire prevention for all, using engaging explanations and interactive Q&A sessions to educate passengers on safe use of fire and electricity, and the use of aircraft fire-fighting equipment. At the end of the event, passengers took photos with flight attendants, holding fire safety signature cards. The cabin was filled with a strong atmosphere of "safety for everyone, safety for everyone." Loong Airlines hopes that this event will make every passenger a "promoter" and "practitioner" of fire safety, extending the concept of safety from the skies to every corner of daily life.
Fire drills are a crucial part of improving emergency response capabilities. On November 7th, Loong Airlines conducted a joint fire drill in advance, simultaneously organizing a fire evacuation drill at its headquarters training building. The joint drill focused on the core aspects of initial fire response and emergency coordination. Employees completed practical exercises with fire extinguishers and demonstrated initial fire control, honing their initial fire response capabilities. The evacuation drill at the headquarters training building simulated a real fire alarm scenario. Employees evacuated quickly and orderly according to pre-set routes. The entire process was efficient and standardized, effectively improving the emergency cooperation level of various departments and the overall evacuation and escape capabilities of all employees.
Online science popularization has also been deepened and made more practical. Throughout November, fire safety knowledge columns were published on channels such as publicity screens and official accounts. Focusing on key topics such as fire and electricity safety, fire hazard investigation, and "three cleans and three closes" (cleaning, clearing, and closing), science popularization knowledge was continuously pushed out in an easy-to-understand form, such as graphic explanations and short video demonstrations, making fire safety knowledge readily accessible.
This series of activities during the Fire Safety Awareness Month is a concrete practice of Loong Airlines in implementing the fire safety policy of "prevention first, combining prevention and firefighting." Loong Airlines will continue to strengthen fire safety management, routinely conduct fire hazard inspections and fire safety education, and build a solid safety foundation for aviation operations and the construction of a safe social environment.
