Recently, the Hunan Provincial Development and Reform Commission approved the Hunan Pingjiang Anding General Aviation Airport project. Located in Zhongxian Village, Anding Town, Pingjiang County, Yueyang City, the project is being constructed by Pingjiang Anding General Aviation Airport Co., Ltd., with a total estimated investment of 163.5468 million yuan.
According to the approval, the project will upgrade the existing Class B general aviation airport to a Class A1 general aviation airport, with a planned flight area level of 1B. The main construction contents include: upgrading one 800m x 30m runway, constructing two new perpendicular taxiways and one parallel taxiway, building an apron with 14 aircraft stands, and supporting facilities such as a terminal building, a comprehensive training center, hangars, special vehicle garages, and dormitories. Simultaneously, supporting infrastructure such as air traffic control, water supply and drainage, power supply, fire protection, and fuel supply will also be constructed.
