Russia: Negotiating with China to expand air traffic between the two countries
According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, the Press Office of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation stated that the Ministry is continuing to conduct consultations with China's aviation regulatory agencies to expand air traffic between the two countries.
The Russian Ministry of Transport pointed out that the development of air traffic with friendly countries directly affects the realization of Russia's tourism potential and the expansion of practical contacts. "The work carried out by the Ministry of Transport is also aimed at developing inbound tourism."
Earlier on June 30, the Russian Ministry of Transport stated that in the first five months of 2023, Aeroflot's passenger traffic between Russia and China has increased by more than nine times year-on-year, reaching 78,800 passengers.
