The press office of Vladivostok Airport previously told Sputnik News Agency that the first two flights from Pyongyang to Vladivostok after the epidemic are scheduled to be operated by Air Koryo on August 25 and 28.

At about 14:00 local time, the airport information screen displayed the information that the plane bound for Pyongyang had already taken off.

Air traffic between North Korea and Russia was disrupted in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In May, Russian ambassador to North Korea Alexander Macygora told Sputnik news agency that passenger transport on this route will resume as soon as the borders are opened, given the existence of an agreement on the relevant flights.
