Civil Aviation Resource Network News on November 18, 2022: According to Simpleflying news, in October, the passenger traffic of Singapore Airlines Group increased by 6.2% month-on-month, reaching 71% of the passenger traffic before the epidemic. In October, the group's passenger traffic was 2.268 million, which is nearly 12 times the passenger traffic in October 2021.

Singapore Airlines and Scoot have been limited by their inability to enter Northeast Asian markets, and for now, monthly passenger traffic is likely to continue to grow as places such as Japan reopen.

In October, Singapore Airlines carried 1.539 million passengers, and its load factor rose to 86.5%. Scoot was also growing, with 729,400 passengers carried, up 8% quarter-on-quarter. In October, Singapore Airlines resumed flights to and from Chengdu and Xiamen, and Scoot resumed operations to destinations such as Hangzhou, Wuhan and Zhengzhou. In addition, Scoot has added four Indonesian routes. Currently, Singapore Airlines serves 76 destinations and Scoot 55.

With the increase of passenger traffic during holidays, Singapore Airlines and Scoot are gradually recovering and increasing routes, and are steadily moving towards the pre-epidemic passenger traffic level.
