JetBlue flight attendants are getting a 5% pay increase starting in November. In addition, after adding another 2% salary increase, a series of incentives and salary increases previously agreed with the union, JetBlue flight attendants will receive a compound salary increase of 21.5% in 2026.
JetBlue Airways is trying to acquire Spirit Airlines, but the Justice Department has sued to block the merger, and a Boston court is expected to start a trial on October 16. According to the memorandum, JetBlue agreed not to furlough or lay off any flight attendants or close any related bases within seven years of completing the acquisition.
Under the agreement with TWU, JetBlue also agreed to provide salary increases and other incentives to employees flying transatlantic flights and Mint business class employees.
